Space Considerations
When considering the purchase of a One Button Studio Go, the first question to ask is; “Where will I put it?”. Here’s a checklist to make sure your room is ready for a One Button Studio Go installation:
Room Size: The footprint of a One Button Studio Go is only 8’x 6′, including the green screen. A room size of 8’x 10′ may be sufficient, depending on the layout and where the door swings in.
Be prepared to send us pictures of the room, including walls, floor, and ceiling; as well as length, width, and height dimensions.
Ceiling Height: The One Button Studio Go is self-contained and doesn’t require hanging anything off of the ceiling or walls. However, a minimum ceiling height of 8′ is recommended.
Power: The One Button Studio Go runs off of a single power outlet. Plug the desk into the wall, and that’s it!
Network Connection: The One Button Studio Go uses QRcloud™ file delivery, and therefore requires an active network port, ideally in close proximity to a power outlet. Let’s get IT involved early on so they know what is needed!
Windows: The struggle with exterior windows is that the lighting conditions can vary dramatically from minute-to-minute. For consistent video quality, we want full control over the light levels in the room. Any exterior windows should be covered. Blinds, drapes, or blackout window film will all do the trick.
Is my room quiet enough? You’ll want to pick a space that’s relatively quiet. You don’t want noise from adjoining rooms being picked up during video recordings. Is there a restroom next door? You don’t want flushing noises in your recordings! HVAC is another consideration. Is there a loud air handler in the ceiling? The included Acousticove™ and sound panels are designed to reduce the reflection of sound waves inside the room, but they do not act as sound-proofing.
Shipping Considerations
Our One Button Studio Go kits are delivered by freight truck, on a 36″ pallet. Other components, like the green screen and desk, are drop-shipped to you directly from our suppliers. Be sure to give us a shipping address where loading dock facilities exist.
