The real difference between the three systems is what the user walks away with.
With the One Button Studio-Basic, the user walks away with an audio/video recording, including whatever background happens to be behind them in the room. If they want to include a PowerPoint in the video, they have two options:
- Have a TV/monitor in the frame with them during recording
- Add the presentation as a picture in picture with a video editing program, after recording.
With the One Button Studio-Green, the user walks away with an audio/video recording, including a greenscreen background. This gives them the added flexibility of being able to chroma key in whatever background they want with a video editing program, after recording. If they want to include a PowerPoint in the video, they have the same two options:
- Have a TV/monitor in the frame with them during recording
- Add the presentation as a picture in picture with a video editing program, after recording.
With the One Button Studio+Plus, the user walks away with an audio/video recording with the background and PowerPoint picture-in-picture already in place. This is the magic of live compositing. This means that no editing (post-production) is required at all! The PowerPoint is loaded at the beginning of the session and shows up as a picture-in-picture in the live recording. The user is also given the option of choosing from three different backgrounds and two different watermark logos.
The beauty of the One Button Studio+Plus is that the user saves a lot of time they would otherwise spend on post-production to finish their video. Even if they have the necessary software skills to do the video editing, they will save hours, because no editing is needed. If they don’t have video editing skills, the One Button Studio+Plus will save them days!

Greetings, I have a few questions: What is the optimal distance from the camera, the presenter should stand? What are the minimum room dimensions (height, width, distance)? Can the components of the system be upgraded by the customer (i.e. lights, camera, mic)? Thank you.
Hi, Anthonye:
8-12 feet is the optimal distance from presenter to camera, and the presenter should stand 1-12 inches from the Chromatte backdrop. Minimum room dimensions are 8′ high x 9′ width x 10′ length.
The microphone is the most easily upgraded. I’m moving to DC powered lights, so those will be a bit more customized in the near future. The camera could be upgraded, but you’re likely to lose the network controlled zoom functions.
You might be interested in the forthcoming One Button Studio [Pro], which has an upgraded camera, lights and microphone. It also does live streaming and has a touchscreen control panel.
